Student Life

Student Life

For parents

What Parents Need To know

From beginning to end the experience is supervised by Eduexplora and its team of professionals who have guided parents and students through campus life at the universities of Yale, UC Berkeley, and UCLA.

PERSONALIZED GUIDANCE & FULL SUPPORT

We accompany parents and students through the whole process, so they have a helpful, friendly, informative, and worry-free experience.

We provide presentations, real-time webinars, and customer support to advise, help and answer questions during the whole process.

Our admission directors are always available to talk directly to parents, students, and schools.

We adapt the application and registration process for international students.

Chaperones are provided for group travel and stay in the residential programs.

The chaperones are either Eduexplora staff or faculty members of participating schools. Chaperones travel with students during flights and all ground transportations, including field trips. Chaperones will maintain daily communication with parents.

Student Life

Students will be able to experience college life, they will live and learn on the University campus, and use the same facilities that regular students use.

Travel Information

Travel tickets are not included in our program tuition. However, Eduexplora will provide group travel arrangements for students coming from some countries. Parents are required to pay the flight ticket directly to the selected airline or travel agency. For group travel Eduexplora will also provide a chaperone.

Rooming Policy

Rooms will be assigned by the university. Age and gender criteria will be considered. Dorm configuration vary and students may be assigned to single, double, and triple rooms.

Safety & Security

Students will be accompanied by Residential Staff and Chaperones 24/7, during the whole duration of the program. Residential staff is selected from the host university and other top universities. They are responsible for:

• Leading house-based activities focused on community building, getting to know the campus, and learning about college life.

• Ensure the safety and well being of participants.

• Accompany students during field trips and extra curricular activities.

Visa and Health Insurance

It is parent's responsibility to ensure their child has a Valid Visa (Tourist Visa - B2) or a Waiver Visa to enter the USA. Student visa is not required. Eduexplora will provide an invitation letter to facilitate the application process, but it doesn't guarantee that the student will get a visa.

Students must provide travel insurance with health coverage between US$100.000 and $150.000 including all out-of-pocket costs including any medications (even over the counter), transportation to the medical center, or any other medical institution. Health insurance should provide full coverage and not require the student to pay anything at all for any type of service, tests, labs, medication, etc. Include covid coverage. If student tests positive on the return flight and is not allowed to travel, insurance should cover any expenses related to extra lodging, meals, care person, transportation, new travel arrangements, etc.
