UBC Future Global Leaders
UBC Future Global Leaders is an immersive two-week pre-university program designed for motivated high school students from around the world.
Participants explore university-level subjects, strengthen essential academic skills, and experience life at one of Canada’s most prestigious institutions.
Students enroll directly in UBC’s official summer program, gaining access to university classrooms, expert instructors, and preparation workshops that help them understand what it takes to succeed in their first year of university.
The program is designed for students ages 15 to 18 and welcomes participants from a wide range of countries.
The University of British Columbia (UBC) is one of the world’s top public universities, recognized for its academic excellence, global impact, and leadership in sustainability and research. Located in Vancouver, one of the most beautiful and student-friendly cities in North America, UBC offers an inspiring environment where innovation and curiosity thrive.
During the program, students live in modern on-campus residence halls, each with a private single room that ensures comfort and privacy, and enjoy three daily meals in the university’s dining facilities.
With secure access, common social areas, and easy walking distance to classrooms, museums, recreational centers, and coastal trails, the campus offers a complete and authentic university experience that reflects UBC’s reputation for world-class teaching, community, and student life.

Weekend Trips & Activities
The program includes exciting weekend excursions that allow students to experience Vancouver’s natural beauty and cultural energy.

Grouse Mountain – panoramic views, nature, and mountain activities
Granville Island – vibrant markets, artisan shops, and waterfront scenery
These activities help students bond, explore the city, and enjoy an unforgettable Canadian summer experience.
