Eduexplora at Georgetown is a unique academic residential program for middle and high school students (ages 13 to 18 years old) at Georgetown University, located in the heart of the nation's capital. Being part of Eduexplora at Georgetown gives students a better insight into their academic future and professional interests. They will have the chance to advance their education through innovative courses taught by highly qualified and experienced instructors using a modern and engaging methodology.

Participants of Eduexplora at Georgetown live and experience college life by living and studying with students from around the world at one of the most beautiful urban campuses in the United States. In addition, they will connect with instructors affiliated with top-level universities and industry-leading instructors that bring cutting-edge topics and hands-on activities to the classroom.

The Georgetown neighborhood is a charming area with Federal-style architecture, cobblestone streets and fashion and design shops. The dining scene is defined by upmarket restaurants and waterfront seafood spots. Georgetown Waterfront Park has a riverside promenade and gardens with a bike path along the C&O Canal.

Eduexplora at Georgetown Program overview: Students choose one academic track among STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Medicine-Bioscience, Humanities, and Social Science to focus on for the 2-week duration and take 2 – 4 courses related to the track selected. Students take various classes within their selected academic track totaling 5 daily academic hours, Monday to Friday.

Scholarship

Full academic scholarships are available for this program. Students that are awarded this scholarship will benefit from not having to pay the academic portion of the tuition fee.

Not included: lodging, meals and transportation.

Washington, D.C., is the capital of the United States, located between Virginia and Maryland on the north bank of the Potomac River. The city is home to all three branches of the federal government, as well as the White House, the Supreme Court and the Capitol Building. The city is home to more federal museums, parks and national landmarks than any other city in the United States.
