Meaningful Entrepreneurship

BUSINESS

Course Description
The Meaningful Entrepreneurship course is for students interested in getting experience developing new solutions for problems that have meaning for them. The course is very engaging with hands-on activities and lectures. Some key benefits are:

- Design products for current real-world problems (using design thinking)
- Develop business skills (with business model canvas)
- Uncover your passions, fears and resilience (based on behavioral science)

Meaningful Entrepreneurship starts with students exploring their passions, as well as fears that may be holding them back from reaching their goals. With this new self-awareness, students work on a team project to develop an innovative solution to a problem that has meaning to them. The project culminates with a business presentation to communicate the value of their solution. The combination of personal inward exploration and designing an innovative solution makes this program unique. Students also use these experiences to write authentically in their college essays and interviews.
