Grades: 7-9

• 1:00 pm Eastern Time (New York Time)

Have you always been interested in making a social impact but do not know where to start? Do you have a great idea on how you can help the world? Do you want to do something positive with your life? If so, this course is for you! Social Impact and Innovation is designed for students interested in learning about social impact leaders from around the world and interested in developing and implementing a social action project of their own. Come up with a problem you want to focus on - do you want to understand why people protest? How to support children with cancer? How to help our planet be more sustainable? Then, deepen your understanding of social impact practices by going through the creation and prototyping process of a team social impact project. Students will choose an issue, research it, talk to stakeholders, and prototype a project aimed toward positive impact and helping the world!
